Donor Advised Fund (DAF)

We welcome gifts made from donor-advised funds (DAF). Your DAF empowers you to support community organizing efforts that engage Black voters and increase voter participation, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants for the Center for Common Ground's mission over time.

You can make a donation via your DAF directly through our online giving page by selecting DAFpay when you give.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)

You can transfer funds directly to the Center for Common Ground from your IRA and get a full tax credit. Federal law allows individuals aged 70½ or older to make direct transfers of up to $108,000 per year, per person, to charitable organizations from their IRA, without the withdrawal being treated as taxable income.

Stock Gifts

A donation of appreciated stock is as simple as a conversation with your broker. Donating stock is an effective way to ensure that year-round Democracy Center organizers can continue serving their community by teaching civic engagement, restoring voting rights, distributing free meals and clothing, and more.

A gift to the Center for Common Ground in your will, trust, or through beneficiary designation costs nothing today and is a simple way to support efforts to protect our democracy, combat voter suppression, and mobilize voters.

Employeer Matching Gifts

Your employer can amplify the impact of your contribution for women and girls through employer match programs. The procedure for submitting a request to match your gift varies by employer, and some employers may extend their matching programs to donations made by spouses, retirees, and Board Members.
